Yes, a pressure washer can be used, provided the spray pressure is kept low and a pH-neutral cleaner is applied.
Special attention should be given to the tracks, as regular cleaning is essential to maintain proper operation and extend the lifespan of your cover.
For the housing, we recommend using a microfiber cloth to help preserve its finish and long-term durability.
Because the membrane significantly reduces algae growth and prevents debris from entering the pool, shock treatments are rarely necessary.
However, in certain situations, a shock treatment may be required. In that case, it is strongly recommanded to leave the Coverseal fully open for 24 to 48 hours to prevent high chemical concentrations from building up beneath the cover, which could potentially damage the membrane.
No. The cover is not designed to support repeated impact or excessive weight. Doing so may cause damage to the housing or mechanical components.
